Become A Charity Newsie Today!

The Charity Newsies are a dedicated group of individuals helping serve children and families in our community.

As a Charity Newsie, you will have the opportunity to participate in some of the community’s largest annual fundraising events while giving back in the process.

We are a truly-local nonprofit organization with no national chapter or paid staff - Just a group of like-minded folks looking to help others!

Membership dues are affordable at just $40 per year. Dues help support administrative responsibilities while donations go towards supporting our charitable efforts.

Why Join The Charity Newsies?

Upon completion of this application, the proposed member will be required to attend one officer and trustee meeting prior to the regular monthly meeting. Following approval by two separate officers or trustees, the proposed member will be required to attend one general membership meeting to introduce themselves to the Charity Newsies membership.

The general membership will vote on the proposed member. The proposed member will be asked to leave the room if they are present at that meeting.

The member submitting a new member for membership shall, upon approval and acceptance of application, inform the new member of their acceptance. At this time the new member will pay the Treasurer the $100 new membership fee and be added to the roster. If a new member is accepted in the months July thru December, dues will be applied to the following year.
